Who you're dealing with
When you call us, you get one of the people in that photo. Not a call center, not a lead broker who sells your number on to three other yards and takes a cut. The person who quotes your car is on the same crew that shows up to tow it.
That matters more in this business than people expect. Plenty of outfits advertising junk car removal in Chicago don't own a truck at all — they collect your details, sell them, and you end up fielding calls from strangers for a week. We own the trucks, we run the yard on South Michigan, and the number we quote comes from us.
How we got here
We started in 2005 with one truck and a lot of driving. Word travelled the way it does in Chicago — one block at a time, one neighbor telling another. Two decades on we've bought thousands of cars across Bronzeville, Hyde Park, Englewood, Bridgeport and everywhere in between, and most of our work still comes from people who were told about us by someone they trust.
What we actually do
We buy cars that have reached the end of the road: wrecked, flooded, seized engines, failed emissions, or simply not worth the next repair bill. We pay cash, we tow for free, and we do the title and paperwork side so it doesn't land on you.
