1. Send us the details

   Year, make, model, and roughly what's wrong with it. Call, text a couple of photos, or use the form below. Photos help — they let us give a tighter number before anyone drives anywhere.

2. We come to you

   Same day where we can. Alley, garage, street, parking lot, or a tow yard. Towing is free and never comes out of your offer.

3. Cash, then keys

   The driver checks the car matches what you described, hands you the money, and only then does it go on the truck.

What to have ready

• Photo ID matching the name on the paperwork
• The title if you have it — signed, but leave the buyer section blank until the driver arrives
• Registration or an old insurance card if the title is missing
• Your license plates, which you keep — they don't go with the car

Before the truck arrives

• Empty the glovebox, console, trunk and under the seats — things get left behind constantly
• Cancel the insurance once the car is gone, not before
• Take your toll transponder off the windshield
• File a seller's report of sale with the Illinois Secretary of State so the car stops being your responsibility

What decides the price?

Mostly weight, then year, make and model, then whether parts on it are still worth reselling. Scrap metal prices move, so a quote from six months ago won't match today.

Do I really not need the title?

In most situations, no. We'll need your ID and something showing the car is yours. Some cases genuinely don't work — a car still under a loan, for instance — and we'll tell you on the phone rather than waste your afternoon.

Does the car need to run?

No. Our flatbeds have a winch. It doesn't need to start, steer, or hold air in the tires.

How fast can you come?

Often the same day, depending on where you are and how the schedule looks. Call early if you're on a deadline.
